Dear Grant Applicant:

The Mohican Area Community Fund is delighted to open our 2026 grant campaign and we welcome Mohican Area organizations to submit their grant requests. We have updated our process and now encourage electronic submissions. The submittal deadline is April 1, 2025. Applications received after that date will not be accepted and there will be no extension.

The MACF trustees will review the applications and make funding decisions solely on the information provided in the application. The clarity of your application and the completeness of information provided will be a significant factor in the decision-making process.

Information you will need to have ready:

• Organizational Operating Budget, highlighting sources of income
• First time applicants need to attach a copy of their tax exemption certificate

TIMELINE:

• Grant Applications will be reviewed in May 2025
• You will receive a notification in June 2025
• If approved, you will receive payment in April 2026
• If your grant is over $2,000 your 2nd payment will be in October 2026 

We are continuing to seek information and updates of all prior projects or groups who have received MACF grants in the past.  If you have been a prior year recipient, please share with us how the funding has helped your group, organization, or project.  Photographs and testimonials are always welcome and will be saved for possible use in flyers and promotional materials. ​
